Common questions
What counts as a scan?
A scan is a single automated browser crawl of a URL. We spin up a real Chromium browser, load your page from an EU location (Berlin), and capture all cookies, network requests, and consent banner behaviour within the first load. You can scan any URL as many times as you like on any plan.
What is a monitored site?
A monitored site is a domain you register for recurring automated scans. We re-scan it on your chosen schedule (weekly or monthly), compare results against the previous scan, and alert you by email when a new tracker appears, your score drops, or a high-severity issue is found.
What does 'pre-consent tracker' mean?
Any network request to a known tracker domain that fires within the first 500ms of page load — before the user has had any opportunity to see or interact with a consent banner — is flagged as a pre-consent violation. Under GDPR, this is a direct violation of the consent requirement for non-essential processing.
Can I add more sites to the Agency plan?
Yes. The Agency base plan includes 10 monitored sites. Each additional site costs €3.50/month, added automatically to your next billing cycle. There is no hard cap — the price simply scales with your client roster.
Is there a yearly billing option?
Yes. On the pricing page you can switch to yearly billing. Pro is €90/year (saving the equivalent of 2 months) and Agency is €490/year. You are billed once per year and can cancel before renewal for a full remaining-period refund via the customer portal.
Do you store the content of the pages I scan?
We store a screenshot of the page at scan time (for evidence), along with the list of cookies, tracker domains, and issues detected. We do not store the full HTML or session data. Screenshots are linked to your scan record and are only accessible to you.
